In today 's world , Stress is imperative and an inevitable part of life. There may be many reasons why one can encounter stress such as work pressures, life pressures, mental breakdown and other related reasons. If not properly managed it can lead to life threatening issues, now we discuss some of the ways to manage stress.

1. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR): this is a technique where you tense and then slowly release different muscle groups in your body. This method is helpful in reducing physical tension and it promote relaxation. It is simple but very effective way to manage stress, particularly if you carry tension in your body due to stress.

2. Practice Gratitude: By focusing on everything you are grateful for, like Life, health, and other good things that has happened around you can help ease out stress. You can practice gratitude by journaling, or meditation.

3. Journaling: this involves writing down your thoughts and feelings, it allows you to express your emotions, clarify your emotions and gain insight into what's causing you stress. Journaling is a powerful way to manage stress because it helps you to track your progress in dealing with stress.

4. Laughter and humor: laughter is indeed the best medicine as it helps you to let off the loads of stress in a moment. Engaging in activities that helps you laugh and create humor is one of the best way to manage stress. Read books that create humor and spend time with people that make you laugh, as it helps to reduce stress hormone and increase endorphins.

5. Setting Boundaries: It's always good to learn to say no and setting boundaries on in your personal and professional life is crucial in managing stress. Overcommitting yourself can lead to burnout and increase stress. Setting boundaries is a good way manage stress.
